Let's talk...

I want to invite everyone to start a discussion around technology and the human experience. I know there are several discussions groups and blogs with very smart people about technology and I hope we can add to that discussion our point of view. And what I want us to talk about is, how to use technology to achieve our objectives. There are so many choices and so many different opinions about what people should or should not do, so what is the right choice and why?

I think we do need to ask more questions about our choices and be aware of those choices or decisions. While this discussion can be about any technology and as a result it could really be about anything or everything, I'm going to start discussing technical architecture that supports enterprise infrastructure and applications. But I might not limit myself to just technical architecture but anything that I can contribute towards and that is why I called this blog, technical parampara.

What is parampara? Paramparā (Sanskrit: परम्परा, paramparā) literally means an uninterrupted row or series, order, succession, continuation, mediation, tradition.

So technical parampara is a series of discussions that hopefully pass on information about how to go about making good choices and what to think about when you have made the choices. I hope you will join me in this discussion and we can learn together and continue the parampara or technical parampara.
